Steffi: So far, these are the best Nachos I have had.  Kiki loved them too.

Unfortunately, Kiki said these fish tacos were very bland.

The Review

The dining experience is not just about food; it is also about the environment and service provided at the Purepecha Mexican Kitchen and Bar.

The ambiance of the restaurant was good, and the space was clean, with a decent-sized bar. However, the service provided by the host who was also the waiter, bartender, and jack-of-all-trades needed to be better. Nevertheless, we thoroughly enjoyed the nachos and highly recommend them.

I ordered fish tacos, which, unfortunately, turned out to be tasteless. I really wanted the Barilla tacos, but was told they would not be ready until 2pm(when speaking to him it was 12:05pm). I felt that the chef needed to wake up early to get things done to accommodate his patrons.

Dining experiences can be highly subjective, and different people may have different opinions about the same restaurant.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at El Purepecha Mexican Kitchen & Bar and overall, it was an "okay" experience. While there were some hits and misses, there were definitely some standout dishes.

Starting with the positives, the nachos were really good. The portion size was generous and the toppings were plentiful, including plenty of cheese, steak, guacamole, and pico de gallo. It was a great starter to share with friends.

However, the margarita was a bit of a disappointment. While it looked great with a salted rim and lime wedge, it lacked the strong lime and tequila flavors that I was hoping for. It ended up tasting quite bland and watered down.

Moving on to the pork tacos, unfortunately, they were just okay and didn't leave a lasting impression. While the pork was cooked well and the toppings were fresh, the overall taste didn't quite hit the mark for me.

Overall, while El Purepecha Mexican Kitchen & Bar had its ups and downs, I would still recommend it for its ambiance and the NACHOS. The nachos alone are worth a visit, and there are plenty of other dishes on the menu that I'm sure are just as delicious.
