Yamasuki
Yamasuki is a Philadelphia-based restaurant that specializes in serving authentic Japanese cuisine in a warm and inviting atmosphere. From sushi to ramen to udon, their menu features a wide variety of traditional Japanese dishes, all made with the freshest ingredients and expertly prepared by their skilled chefs.
The restaurant's interior is designed to create a cozy and intimate dining experience, with dim lighting, soft music, and comfortable seating. Whether grabbing a quick lunch or settling in for a leisurely dinner, Yamasuki is a place to enjoy a meal in a relaxed and welcoming setting.
One of the standout features of Yamasuki is its sushi bar, where you can watch as the chefs expertly craft each piece of sushi by hand. It is said only the highest-quality fish and ingredients ensure that each bite is packed with flavor and texture.
If you're in the mood for something heartier, the restaurant's ramen and udon dishes are not to be missed. The noodles are made in-house daily, and the broths are simmered for hours to develop deep, complex flavors.
Overall, Yamasuki is supposedly authentic Japanese cuisine in Philadelphia.

Meek: A Lunch Spot for Sushi Lovers 🥨🥨🥨
Recently, I had the chance to visit Yamasuki, a sushi restaurant located a few blocks away from my workplace. The restaurant has a good lunch menu, which is why it is a popular lunch spot among many people. During my visit, I had the opportunity to connect with a homeless man, who asked if he could interview us. Although this experience did not directly relate to the restaurant review, it was a part of our overall experience that I wanted to mention. As for the restaurant itself, I must say that I enjoyed my meal there. The Shrimp Sephora Sushi was particularly delicious and reminded me of a similar dish I had at a restaurant in Harrisburg, PA. In fact, my sister Kiki and I were trying to compare the sushi from Yamasuki to the one we had in Harrisburg. While Kiki thought Yamasuki's sushi was better, I still remember the Harrisburg sushi being exceptional. Overall, Yamasuki is a great place to go if you're looking for a good lunch spot. The sushi is delicious, and the restaurant has a welcoming atmosphere. Although I don't have much to say about the place, I definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a good sushi lunch
Steffi: Eh! 🥨🥨 Yamasuki is a Japanese-style restaurant located in Philadelphia that serves a variety of dishes ranging from sushi to chicken katsu. It is known for its cute decor and unique way of presenting receipts in Japanese comic books, also known as manga. However, not all experiences at Yamasuki have been positive, as I have learned from my own experiences. The first time I went to Yamasuki was on a date. Although the restaurant's decor was cute, with a big Transformer in the front, the service was not up to par. Our waitress was more concerned with attending to her friend who was waiting at the bar than serving us. As a result, the service was slow, and we had a bad experience overall. The second time I went to Yamasuki was with my cousins during COVID-19. We ordered takeout sushi, and although the food was delicious, we had to remind the staff to wear their face masks properly. Despite these experiences, Yamasuki is still a popular spot in Philly. It's cute decor and unique presentation of receipts make it a standout restaurant. Additionally, it serves delicious Japanese food, including sushi and chicken katsu. For those who are unfamiliar with the term "weeaboo," it refers to someone who is obsessed with Japanese culture and lifestyle. Overall, Yamasuki is worth a try, but be aware that the service may not always be up to par. Nevertheless, the restaurant's cute decor and delicious food make it a unique experience that is definitely worth checking out.
